Zali Steiner

Zali Steiner is currently a Graduate Mechanical Engineer at Hydro Tasmania since February 2023. Prior to this role, Zali served as an Entrepreneurship Officer with UNSW Founders from May to December 2022, working in the Curiosity Stage of the program. Zali also held the position of Demonstrator for UNSW Design Next Engineering Subjects from January 2021 to December 2022, covering courses such as Engineering Design (DESN1000) and Engineering Design and Professional Practice (DESN2000). Additionally, Zali was the Communications Coordinator for the Girls In Engineering Club at UNSW, managing social media, organizing workshops, and creating newsletters. Zali's earlier experience includes working as a Gap Assistant at Priors Field School in 2017, supporting both students and teaching staff. Zali holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Material Science from UNSW, earned from January 2018 to December 2022.
