Yiorgos Makris

Yiorgos Makris has a diverse work experience in the marketing field. Yiorgos started their career as an Ecommerce Manager at Salomon Sports, where they led multiple e-Business initiatives and managed online sales. Yiorgos then moved on to Columbia Sportswear Company, where they held roles as an International Marketing Project Manager and later as an International Marketing Manager. During this time, they developed marketing strategies and managed relationships with stakeholders. Following their time at Columbia, Yiorgos worked at Icebreaker as the Head of US Marketing and later as the US Head of Wholesale Marketing. Here, they collaborated with finance and operations teams, developed key account marketing plans, managed trade show executions, and negotiated cost savings. Currently, Yiorgos is the Director of Marketing at Hydro Flask.

From 1997 to 2000, Yiorgos Makris attended the University of Oregon, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government.
