Alyssa Therkildsen

Alyssa Therkildsen is a professional with extensive experience in communications and engagement, currently serving as Manager of HR Communications & Engagement at Hydro One since March 2023. Previously, Alyssa held various roles at McFarlan Rowlands Insurance Brokers Inc, including Internal Communications Manager, Corporate Communications Manager, Communications Specialist, and Communications Coordinator from October 2017 to February 2023. Additional experience includes a Marketing Assistant Intern position at Upper Thames River Conservation Authority, a Wildlife Rehabilitation Volunteer at Wildtracks, and support roles with the World University Service of Canada. Alyssa has also contributed as a Youth Leader with Addiction Services of Thames Valley and a Peer Leader with Smoke Free Ontario: Oxford Youth Action Alliance. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in International Development and a Certificate in Environmental Conservation from the University of Guelph, as well as studies at Fanshawe College.
