Tim Humphries

Tim Humphries is a skilled Protection and Control Engineer with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving at Hydro One since January 2017, Tim provides technical support to field staff and develops commissioning and preventive maintenance procedures. Prior to this role, Tim worked at Stantec as a P&C Designer and Project Leader, where responsibilities included conducting site surveys, preparing estimates, and overseeing substation protection and controls design. Tim also gained valuable experience at Hydro One as an Engineering Coordinator, managing a breaker replacement program, and at IESO as a Shift Operations Assistant, tracking activities in the control room. Tim holds a Bachelor's Degree in Power and Energy Engineering from McMaster University and an Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma from Mohawk College.
