Gary Farbar

Gary Farbar is an experienced professional in the energy sector with over 40 years of expertise. Currently serving as the Manager of Growth Initiatives and Manager of the Business Development Program Office at Hydro Ottawa since June 2010, Gary has previously held significant positions at Northland Power Inc., where Gary managed business development and led the $500 million Thorold Cogeneration Project. Earlier roles included providing financial analysis at Northland Power, overseeing project development at TransCanada Pipelines, and working as an engineer at Union Gas Ltd. Gary holds an MBA in Finance from McMaster University and dual BEng degrees in Civil Engineering from Carleton University.
