Bruno Marcil

Bruno Marcil is the current VP of Internal Audit at Hydro-Québec. Bruno has previously held positions at Loto-Québec, WSP, GoSecure Inc., and the Ordre des CPA du Québec. Marcil has been working in the field of internal audit for over 15 years.

Marcil began their career in internal audit at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec in 2006. Bruno rose through the ranks quickly, becoming Director of Internal Audit in 2010. In 2013, they left the Caisse to join the Ordre des CPA du Québec as Sr. Director Advisory, Internal Audit.

In 2014, Marcil left the Ordre to join GoSecure Inc. as VP of Governance, Risks and Audit. Bruno remained with GoSecure until 2015 when they joined WSP as Internal Audit Manager. In 2017, Marcil joined Loto-Québec as CAE & CRO / Directeur corporatif de l’audit interne et de la gestion des risques d’entreprise. Bruno held this position until 2021 when they assumed their current role at Hydro-Québec.

Throughout their career, Marcil has been actively involved in professional organizations dedicated to internal audit and risk management. Bruno has served on the Working Group on Internal Audit and Risk Management for the Ordre des CPA du Québec and the Working

Their manager is Sophie Brochu, President and Chief Executive Officer. They work with Jean - François Morin - VP, Information & Communications Technologies, Pierre Despars - VP, Corporate Strategy and Business Development, and Jean‑Hugues Lafleur - EVP, Chief Financial Officer.
