Eric Péloquin is a civil engineer graduated from École Polytechnique, where they also earned a master's degree in geotechnical engineering. With nearly thirty years of experience in dam safety, including over fifteen years in leadership roles, they have contributed to projects such as the Eastmain-1 and Romaine Complex. Since 2017, Péloquin has served as the Chef Études de sécurité des barrages at Hydro-Québec, overseeing safety assessments of nearly 700 dams. They are also the Vice-President of the Canadian Dam Association and an active member of several engineering organizations.
