François Giguère is an experienced project engineer currently serving as Team Lead at Hydro Québec since August 2019. Previously, François held various positions at BOMBARDIER from October 2004 to July 2019, including Section Chief of Advanced Structure Design, Team Lead for Composite Structures Design, and Composite Structures Design Engineer, where François contributed to the CSeries aircraft program. François also engaged in R&D for Global Interiors, overseeing concept definition and prototype development. Additional experience includes a lecturer role at École de technologie supérieure and product development engineering at Mega Brands. François holds a Master in Applied Science from Université de Sherbrooke and two Bachelor of Engineering degrees from Virginia Tech and Université de Sherbrooke in Aerospace Engineering.

It essentially exploits renewable energies, more particularly hydroelectricity. It also does research in energy-related fields and is actively interested in energy efficiency. In addition, it develops the technologies resulting from its research.
