Manuelle Alix-Surprenant serves as the Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at Hydro Québec since August 2021 and has been a writer for Éditions Alias, contributing to the book "La couleur de l'adoption," which features portraits of international adoptees. Previously, Manuelle was the Secretary-researcher for the Conseil interculturel de Montréal, where responsibilities included managing board members and fostering relationships around intercultural issues. With a diverse background in project management and communication, Manuelle has held various roles such as Learning Concierge at E-180, President of L'Hybridé, and Coordinator at Forum jeunesse de l'île de Montréal, all focused on promoting inclusion, diversity, and community engagement. Manuelle holds a Graduate degree in Anthropology from Université de Montréal and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from UQAM.
