Ian Hawley

Ian Hawley has extensive experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as a Line Engineer at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines since February 2018. Prior to this role, Ian held positions as a B1 Aircraft Engineer providing technical support at Hydro Systems KG, as well as a Line Engineer at Monarch Airlines. Additional experience includes contracting for KLM UK, and supporting tooling and GSE on Trent 1000 and XWB overhauls at Hydro Systems Company. Ian's foundational experience includes serving as a Maintenance Controller at British Midland International, where responsibilities included managing maintenance activities and troubleshooting, along with military experience as a Rigger in the Royal Air Force. Ian completed education at Ball Green High School from 1971 to 1977.
