Marc Goldberg

Marc Goldberg is cofounder and managing partner of BioVentures Investors, a private investment firm focused on capturing medtech (therapeutic medical device and diagnostic technologies) investment opportunities that embrace radical innovation and enable paradigm shifts in the practice of medicine. He brings well over 30 years of managerial and investment experience in the health-care sector.

Prior to joining BioVentures, Mr. Goldberg served as president and CEO of the Massachusetts Biotechnology Research Institute. He was vice president, finance and corporate development, chief financial officer, and treasurer at Safer, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of novel biopesticides and related products. He started his career at Genetics Institute, one of the earliest biotechnology research and development companies.

Mr. Goldberg earned his bachelor’s degree from Harvard College, his juris doctor degree from Harvard Law School, and his master of business administration degree from Harvard Business School.
