Ghislain Nicolas

Ghislain Nicolas has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy industry. Ghislain is currently the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at HYDROGRID since July 2022. Prior to that, they founded and worked as a Consultant at Green Gambit Consulting, offering strategy, commercial, and project development services in the areas of hydro and rooftop solar PV. Ghislain has also held various roles at GE Renewable Energy, including Global Growth & Sales Leader for Hydro Services, Transactional Growth Leader for Onshore Wind Service, and Small Hydro Global Leader. At Alstom Power, they served as the Global Business Development Director, Sales and Marketing Manager for Global Power Sales, and worked in Strategic Planning and President Office. Ghislain Nicolas has consistently achieved double-digit growth in sales and executed margin in their roles.

Ghislain Nicolas began their education in 2002 at Sciences Po Aix, where they pursued a degree in International Relations and Affairs. Ghislain completed their studies there in 2005. In 2005-2006, Ghislain participated in an exchange program at the Southwest University of Political Science and Law, focusing on Public Chinese Law and Chinese Language. Following this, they attended The University of Bonn from 2006 to 2007, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Law, Economics, and Political Sciences.

In addition to their formal education, Ghislain Nicolas has also obtained several additional certifications throughout their career. In 2012, they completed the Alstom Management Program (AMP) at Alstom. Ghislain then enrolled in the GE Business Leadership Program (BLP) with the Michigan Ross School of Business in 2021, obtaining the certification. Prior to that, in 2019, Ghislain completed the Accelerated Leadership Program (XLP) at GE.
