Ricky Theil

Ricky Theil has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ricky started their career as a PC Technician at Quark Software Inc. in 1998, where they configured and maintained hardware and software infrastructures and performed automation tasks for testing products by QA teams. Ricky also developed custom internal applications for QA tasks and worked as a liaison between QA and R&D for a client/server e-commerce product.

In 1999, Ricky was promoted to the role of Software Engineer Level II at Quark Software Inc. Here, they developed scripts and web-based performance tests for load testing and reporting to R&D. Ricky also redeveloped a failed store application built by the web team to provide employees with a shopping site for Christmas gifts.

In 2002, Ricky joined Colorado United Credit Union as a Software Developer/Senior Network Administrator. During their tenure, they implemented, configured, and managed the network devices across five locations and researched and recommended new technologies to improve network performance and reduce operational costs.

In 2004, Ricky joined Jacobs as a Software Engineer/Helpdesk Technician, a role they held until 2005. During this time, they provided software development and helpdesk support.

From 2005 to 2021, Ricky worked at Mountain View Publishers as a Sr. Software Engineer. Here, they developed, implemented, and supported the company's entire software ecosystem, including a CRM system responsible for generating millions of dollars in annual revenue. Ricky utilized technologies such as SQL Server/MySQL databases, C# .NET Framework, LAMP stack, and systems for processing financial transactions.

Currently, Ricky is employed at Growlink as a Senior Software Engineer starting from 2021. In this role, they are responsible for developing APIs for customer-facing front-ends and employee administration portals using ASP.NET MVC 5 (C#) and developing standalone hardware provisioning utilities.

Throughout their career, Ricky has demonstrated strong technical skills and a track record of successfully implementing and managing various software and network systems.

Ricky Theil began their education in 1997 at UNLV, where they pursued a field of study in Computer Science.
