Sebastian Barsch has extensive experience in the food industry, particularly in product development and application. Sebastian currently holds the position of Head of Product Development, specifically focused on meat and fish alternatives, at Planteneers - The Plant Based Pioneers since September 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Hydrosol, where they held various roles including Head of Product Development for meat and fish products and Senior Food Technologist from January 2016 to present. Sebastian also served as Application Manager from November 2010 to December 2015. Sebastian's earlier experiences include working as an Application Technologist at Herbafood Ingredients GmbH from October 2008 to November 2010, and at Herbstreith & Fox GmbH & Co. KG Pektin-Fabriken from October 2008 to November 2010.
Sebastian Barsch attended Hochschule Hannover from 2004 to 2008, where they pursued a degree in Milchwirtschaftliche Lebensmitteltechnologie. Sebastian successfully completed their studies in 2008.
