Patrice Chablain

Patrice Chablain currently serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at Hygiena since April 2023. Prior experience includes a role as R&D Director for the Food Business at bioMérieux from December 2012 to April 2023, where leadership was demonstrated over a team of over 50 biologists and engineers and involvement in the development of microbiological solutions for food safety and quality. Chablain also held positions as R&D Manager in the Molecular Diagnostics Industry at bioMérieux and as R&D Director at Pall Genesystems from February 2003 to November 2012, focusing on diagnostic molecular methods. Earlier experience encompasses serving as Laboratory Director at ATG Life Laboratoire from February 2001 to February 2003. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Microbiology, Genetic Engineering, and Bioconversion from Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC), obtained between 1994 and 1999.
