Alex Marcotte

Alex Marcotte is the current Chief Technical Officer at Hykso. Prior to this, they worked as a firmware developer at Esterline CMC Electronics, an electrical engineer at Esterline CMC Electronics, a software developer at Opsens, a firmware developer at Axes Network, and a technician and assembler at Crobel Électronique and Connexion Technic & Technologies Coffea, respectively.

Marcotte has over seven years of experience in the tech industry. Alex began their career as an assembler in 2007 and has since worked their way up to their current position as CTO. Alex has experience in firmware development, software development, hardware design, and signal processing.

Marcotte is a highly skilled and experienced technologist. Alex has played a vital role in the development of various touchscreen prototypes that use infra-red technology for aerospace purposes. Alex has also been responsible for the conception of hardware drivers to control matrixes of infra-red LEDs. In addition, they have conducted electronic reworks to hardware designs and has verified the power sequencing of an Intel processor.

Alex Marcotte has a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Université de Sherbrooke, a Technic in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cégep Limoilou, and a Certification from Kauffman FastTrac in Fastrac TechVenture.
