Eric Widener

Eric Widener is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience across various roles in the industry. Currently serving as Director of Cybersecurity for the Cloud Foundation at Hyland since April 2022, Widener previously held the position of Director of Security - Cyber Defense at Benefitfocus from March 2013 to April 2022, where responsibilities included safeguarding sensitive information for millions of users and establishing a comprehensive threat discovery and response program. Earlier roles included Incident Response Analyst at Network Security Systems Plus, Security Focal Point at Chickasaw Nations Industries, and Computer Security Supervisor at WSI-SRS, along with significant experience as a Computer/Communication Systems Programmer in the US Air Force. Widener holds an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science from the Community College of the Air Force.
