Jim de Jong

Jim de Jong is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in financial management and reporting. Currently serving as Accounting Manager at HyLife since March 2021, Jim previously held the position of Manager of Financial Reporting and Taxation at Buhler Industries Inc. from September 2009 to August 2020, where responsibilities included managing regulatory filings and tax returns. Prior to this, Jim worked as a Senior Manager at Booke & Partners, Chartered Accountants, overseeing audit and review engagements for various businesses and not-for-profit entities. Jim holds a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) in Accounting from the University of Manitoba, as well as a Bachelor of Arts with a major in History and a minor in Philosophy from the same institution.
