Nicholas Hughes

Nicholas Hughes currently serves as the Head of Origination & Partnerships at Hynamics, where responsibilities include growing the pipeline of low-carbon hydrogen projects and managing key partnerships with offtakers, co-developers, joint venture partners, and the UK Government since September 2021. Prior to this role, Nicholas held various positions at EDF Renewables UK from September 2014 to September 2021, including Head of Business Development and Senior Business Development Manager, overseeing business development, M&A, and project delivery for onshore renewables in Ireland. Nicholas also has experience as a Project Manager and National Sales Team Manager at EDF Energy from September 2007 to August 2014. Nicholas holds a 2:1 degree in Chemistry and French from the University of Bristol, where studies were completed from 2002 to 2006.
