Sharon Shaw has over 30 years of experience in marketing and management roles. Sharon began their career at IBM in 1989 as an RS/6000 Systems Engineer. Sharon then held various sales and specialist positions within the company before becoming the RS/6000 North America Sales Program Manager. From 1999 to 2000, Sharon worked as a Server Sales Manager for ibm.com Sales Center. Sharon then transitioned to the role of Influencer Marketing Manager at Americas eServer Marketing from 2000 to 2002.
In 2002, Sharon became the ISV Co-marketing Programs Manager at Americas STG Marketing, where they played a key role in the successful rollout of over 225 ISV joint marketing campaigns. Sharon also served as the Americas STG brand program manager for the cross-IBM small and medium business ISV advantage program. In 2005, Sharon was promoted to High Volume Marketing Manager, overseeing the overall brand marketing of High Volume server including System x and low-end Storage. Sharon effectively managed a marketing budget in excess of $3M each year.
In 2014, Sharon joined Lenovo as the Enterprise Business Group Marketing Director. Sharon led and developed a team of 12 server marketing managers and successfully navigated through the acquisition into Lenovo.
From 2016 to 2017, Sharon worked as the IBM Spectrum Computing Marketing Manager. In this role, they conceptualized and directed North American IBM Spectrum Computing end-to-end marketing, achieving exceptional results in validated leads and revenue targets.
In 2017, Sharon joined Oki Data Americas, Inc. as the Director of Marketing, Industry Vertical Solutions. Sharon directed and developed a team responsible for driving product management of color, mono, and dot matrix printers. Sharon also oversaw product marketing, channel marketing, sales enablement, and demand generation. Sharon managed a significant annual budget delivering measurable ROI for the company.
Most recently, in 2019, Sharon joined Nautilus Hyosung America as the Senior Director of Marketing.
Sharon Shaw obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Youngstown State University, where they studied from 1984 to 1989.
