Ian Keough

CEO, Founder at Hypar

Ian Keough began their career in 2001 as an Exhibit Designer at ESI Design. In 2005, they became an Associate Technical Designer at Buro Happold Consulting Engineers in New York, where they focused on the use of automation in the development of building information models (BIM). In 2010, they took on the role of Chief Technical Designer at goBuild, where they created software for architects, engineers, and contractors to make buildings better. In 2011, they became a Solution Architect, BIM Products at Vela Systems. From 2012 to 2017, they held roles as Software Architect and Principal Engineer at Autodesk. In 2017, they founded and became CEO of Hypar.

Ian Keough received their Masters in Architecture from Parsons School of Design - The New School between 2002 and 2005. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from the University of Michigan between 1995 and 1999.
