Matt Campbell

Matt Campbell has held various positions in the tech industry since 2003. Matt began their career as an Undergraduate Student Research Intern at NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, where they developed a dynamic model of near-Earth space plasma behavior and enhanced several tools for operating on data from satellite instruments. In 2005, they became a Principal Engineer at Autodesk. From 2014-2019, they worked at Google as a Tech Lead and Manager, where they led the event search features on Google Search and developed general-purpose techniques for consuming structured data from the web. Most recently, they have served as CTO at Hypar since 2019.

Matt Campbell graduated from Virginia Tech in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Matt attended Virginia Tech from 2003 to 2005.
