Jorge Costa

Jorge Costa has a long and varied work experience. From 2009 to 2021, they have worked at seven different companies. In 2009, they began their career as a Software Developer at M2M. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Junior Engineer at Fullsix Portugal, where they developed a large Portuguese gaming portal. In 2011, they moved to AdvanceCare, S.A., where they were a Developer and Project Manager. Jorge managed, with SCRUM, and developed the first Underwriting System in Portugal, and also developed a middleware in C# and using COM Interop for a VB6 application. From 2013 to 2021, they worked at Altran, where they were a Project Manager, ERM Project Leader, and Advanced Consultant/Team Lead. Jorge developed the Altran Group ERM tool in .Net 4.5 and MVC 4. In 2021, they moved to Talkdesk, where they were a Program Manager. Currently, they are working at Hypatos as Head of Professional Services and Senior Implementation Manager.

Jorge Costa obtained a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa between 2002 and 2010. In 2011, they obtained a MCPD: Web Developer 4 certification from Microsoft. Jorge then obtained a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance in February 2010. In 2012, they completed an Intensive English Course (60h): B2.0 Level from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. In 2016, they received an ITIL® Foundation certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Finally, in 2017, they obtained an ISTQB® -BCS Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. In October 2019, they received a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute.
