Dirk Räbiger

Dirk Räbiger has extensive work experience in the technology sector. Dirk is currently serving as the CTO at HYPE Innovation since July 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Technology & Development at HYPE Innovation from March 2011 to the present. From May 2008 to March 2011, they worked as the Head of Custom Development at HYPE Innovation. Dirk started their career at HYPE Innovation as a Senior Software Engineer in July 2007 and stayed there until April 2008.

Before joining HYPE Innovation, Dirk worked as a Software Engineer at AED-SICAD AG from June 2006 to July 2007. During their time there, they focused on designing and implementing graphics cache for a GIS product family, as well as improving the rendering and labeling engine.

Prior to that, Dirk worked as a Software Engineer at Universal Gaming Concepts from September 2005 to May 2006.

Dirk also has teaching and research experience as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Cologne from April 2000 to July 2005.

Dirk has business ownership experience as the Business Owner of Colotec GmbH, Cologne Logistics Technologies, which they founded in December 2000. The company provided consulting services to the Charter Airline Industry in Airline Scheduling and handled business administration tasks. Dirk was with the company until December 2004.

Additionally, Dirk worked as a Teacher for a programming class at Gothaer Versicherungen in February 2002.

Dirk Räbiger pursued their higher education at the University of Cologne. From 1995 to 2000, they obtained a Diploma in Information Systems. Continuing their academic journey, Dirk then enrolled in the same university and completed their studies in Computer Science, earning a Doctorate degree (Dr. rer. nat.) from 2000 to 2005.
