Héctor Izquierdo Fernández

Héctor Izquierdo Fernández has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Héctor is currently employed as a Front-End Developer at HYPE Innovation since 2022. Previously, from 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Full-Stack Developer at Jeanologia, where they developed and implemented EIM, a software tool for measuring the environmental impact of the garment finishing industry. Héctor also contributed to the Front-End library and implemented new widgets for the company.

Before that, from 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Full-Stack Developer at Gelt Cash. As part of a two-person development team, they built the Front-End of the company's back office web application from scratch, enhancing client and payment management functionalities.

In 2018, Héctor worked as a Web Application Developer at Valencia UPV iGEM, where they designed and developed a web application used to control a biological printer and created the team's website. Héctor collaborated in a multidisciplinary team and achieved various accolades for the team's project.

Throughout their career, Héctor has gained expertise in technologies such as Angular, Express JS, NodeJS, MongoDB, and Python.

Héctor Izquierdo Fernández completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from 2015 to 2019, specializing in Software Engineering. In 2019, they also participated as an exchange student during the Spring Semester at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), focusing on Computer Science. Additionally, in July 2018, they obtained a Certificate in Advanced English from Cambridge Assessment English.
