Damaris Valero Scarpa has over 30 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry. Damaris started their career in 1989 as the Director of International Programming for Telemundo. Damaris then moved on to MTV Networks/Viacom in 1993 as the Senior Vice President of Advertising and Affiliate. In 1998, they joined Universal Studios as a Business Development professional. In 2003, they joined Animus Entertainment Group (Animus Productions) as an Executive Producer and Director of Content Development. Here they were responsible for producing multiple seasons of That's Fresh Cooking Series for Disney Jr., Executive Producing Kid's Choice Awards in Colombia for Viacom, and producing Aaron Sanchez series Aron Loves NY. In 2019, they joined UpLink as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Global Business Development. Additionally, they are a consultant for RightMesh AG, where they are responsible for building relationships and securing pilot projects and agreements for RightMesh in Latin America.
Damaris Valero Scarpa has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Saint Joseph's University in the field of Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Damaris has also been attending NY Film Academy since 2012 for Screenwriting. Damaris has also completed a Senior Management Negotiations program from Harvard Business School.
