Siddharth Venu is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in founding and leading startups. Currently serving as the Head of Security and Founding Engineer at Hyperbound since August 2024, Siddharth was previously a Founding Engineer at Bloom from April 2022 to August 2024, and the CTO and Co-Founder of BharatX, a YC-backed fintech startup providing white-labelled BNPL solutions from November 2019 to March 2022. Siddharth was selected as a Lightspeed Extreme Entrepreneur in January 2021, mentoring students during a Google Summer of Code project and advocating for open source at AnitaB.org. Additionally, Siddharth has worked as a Software Engineer at The Quad, where significant contributions included automating reporting processes for fitness coaches. Academically, Siddharth holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, complemented by participation in the Y Combinator program.
