Zhiyao Feng's work experience includes a role as a Senior Magnet Engineer at Hyperfine, starting in January 2022. Prior to that, Zhiyao worked as a Magnet Materials Engineer at Hyperfine from January 2020 to January 2022. From August 2018 to January 2020, Zhiyao worked as a Research Engineer at FeNix Magnetics, Inc. Zhiyao's earliest work experience was as a Graduate Research Assistant at Case Western Reserve University, where they conducted research on Fe-base alloys, phase evolution, and magnetization from February 2012 to January 2018. They also utilized the DOE Taguchi method for investigating the fabrication of magnetic material.
Zhiyao Feng received a Bachelor's Degree in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology, graduating in 2011. From 2012 to 2015, Zhiyao pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Case Western Reserve University. Subsequently, Zhiyao continued their education at the same institution, completing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Materials Science in 2018.
In addition to their formal education, Zhiyao Feng obtained certifications in R Programming and The Data Scientist's Toolbox from Coursera in April 2019.
