Jay Cady

Jay Cady has worked for five companies in the past. Jay started as a Software Development Intern at International Electronic Machines Corporation in 2013, and then took on the role of Embedded Systems Intern, HomeWorks QS at Lutron Electronics in the same year. In 2013 they also founded Whirl, an all-in-one POS, and served as the Founder & CTO. From 2016 to 2018, Jay Cady worked at b8ta as Lead Engineer, Stores and Senior Software Engineer. In 2018, they became the Founder & CTO at Hyperframe.

Jay Cady attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Dual Electrical / Computer and Systems Engineering. In 2014, they also attended Y Combinator. In November 2022, Jay obtained a Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org.
