Alicia Richarte

Laboratory Manager at Hyperion Biotechnology

Alicia Richarte has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and research. Alicia started their career at UT Southwestern Medical Center as a Research Assistant in 2006. Alicia then joined Hyperion Biotechnology as a Research and Development Associate in 2007.

In 2010, Alicia moved to Operational Technologies Corporation where they worked as a Research Assistant II. Alicia'srole involved generating single-stranded DNA aptamers for the detection of infectious agents in food samples.

Alicia returned to Hyperion Biotechnology in 2016 as a Laboratory Technician and later progressed to the role of Senior Research and Clinical Technician. In February 2018, they were promoted to the position of Laboratory Manager.

Throughout their career, Alicia has gained expertise in laboratory management and various research techniques, making their a valuable asset in the field of biotechnology.

Alicia Richarte obtained their Bachelor's degree in Science from St. Mary's University between 1997 and 2001. Alicia then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Genes and Development at UT Southwestern Medical Center from 2002 to 2006.
