Heather Ward

Heather Ward has extensive experience in various leadership roles, particularly in the areas of entrepreneurship, sustainability, and marketing. Heather is the CEO and Co-Founder of Hyperion Global Energy, where they focus on transforming waste Carbon to Value on an industrial scale. Prior to that, they were the CEO and Founder of Tandem Technical, which was acquired in 2021. Heather also served as the Head of Community at Impact Hub Ottawa, a non-profit social enterprise incubator and coworking space. Heather was the Chief Marketing Officer at Gusto Worldwide Media, where they played a key role in the launch and brand development of Gusto TV, now called CTV Life. Heather also founded and served as CEO of Bounce Publicity, a full-service agency supporting multinational clients and brands. In addition, they have experience in academia, having served as an Adjunct Faculty at RCC Institute of Technology. Heather started their career at Strategic Objectives as a Senior Account Director. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in areas such as commercialization, strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and media relations.

Heather Ward's education history starts with their participation in the RBC Women in Cleantech Cohort at MaRS Discovery District from 2021 to 2022. Heather then attended the Equinor & Techstars Energy Accelerator (Norway) at Techstars until 2021. Currently, they are enrolled in the carbonNEXT Program at Foresight Canada, specializing in Decarbonization Technology, starting from 2023. It is unclear when they started and finished their studies at Bishop's University, where they pursued a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) and Economics at the Williams School of Business.
