Nick Rivara

Nick Rivara is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in software and control systems, currently serving as Chief Engineer at Hypermotive since May 2023. Prior to this role, Nick held positions as Chief Engineer and Technical Specialist at Contract Innovation Ltd from January 2019 to June 2023, and Engineering Manager at Drive System Design from April 2016 to January 2019. Nick's career includes roles as Contract Software Engineer at TRW, Senior Project Engineer at Ricardo, and Systems Engineer at Delphi Diesel Systems. Beginning as a Programmer for his own venture in 2009, Nick also contributed as a Research Student at the University of Liverpool, where Nick earned a Ph.D. in Powertrain Dynamics and Control. Earlier experience includes business development and project applications engineering at Austrade and Parker Hannifin, respectively.
