Mischa Pollack is an experienced aerospace professional. Mischa began their career in 2005 as an Airframe Program Manager and Lead Structural Analyst at AeroVironment. In 2011, they moved to Zee.Aero as Lead Structural Analyst, where they designed, analyzed, fabricated, and tested all primary structural elements of a cutting-edge, all-electric, ultra-light, composite aircraft. In 2015, Pollack held two positions simultaneously: Associate Producer at National Geographic and Lead Design Engineer and Program Manager at Beach House Pictures. In this role, they designed, fabricated, and tested numerous products for use in a 6-episode series on the future of technology for the National Geographic Channel. In 2017, they were a Senior Structural Analyst and AeroMechanical Design Engineer - Consultant at AeroVironment. In 2019, they joined Uber as Vehicle Structural Design Lead, where they worked alongside multiple OEM partners to develop airframe structural concepts and manufacturing paths. In 2021, they moved to Collier Aerospace as Director of Innovation.
Mischa Pollack received a Masters degree in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Stanford University in 2005. Prior to that, they received a Bachelors degree in Aeronautical Engineering and a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis in 2003.
