Karan Soneja

Karan Soneja started their work experience in 2017 as an intern at The Art of Living, where they taught elementary classes, organized career conferences, and events. In 2017, they also interned at Luminous Power Technologies, where they designed a framework for monetizing Internet of Things and developed cost-cutting strategies.

In 2019, Karan worked as an analyst intern at CoinSwitch, where they analyzed cryptocurrencies and consumer behavior using tools like Amplitude Analytics and Redash.

Currently, Karan is working at Hypersonix Inc. as a Business Analyst. Karan'sresponsibilities include analyzing and collecting data, creating dashboards, using tools like Snowflake and Dbeaver, and supporting the Data Engineering team. Karan is also responsible for identifying data gaps, outliers, and providing business logic to solve them.

From 2018 to 2020, they attended the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, where they pursued a Master's degree in Erasmus Mundus Joint Quantitative Economics (QEM). Karan'sarea of focus during this program was Quantitative Economics.

In 2019, Karan participated in a short-term study program at Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, as part of their Erasmus Mundus Quantitative Economics Master (QEM) degree. During this time, they studied Models and Methods of Quantitative Economics.

Prior to their master's studies, Karan attended Amity University from 2015 to 2018, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics. Karan graduated with an Honours degree in this field.

In terms of additional certifications, Karan obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Stanford University, completed through Coursera. Karan achieved this certification in September 2021.
