Carl Foggin

Carl Foggin has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Carl began their career in 1994 as a Software Quality Assurance Manager at Astound Inc, where they managed a team of 10 employees. Carl then worked at Objectquest Inc as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer and Developer, focusing on software testing and C++ development.

In 1999, Carl joined Cisco Systems/Pixstream Inc as a Software Quality Engineer and Project Lead, where they managed a team of 5 engineers and tested Telco grade video over IP networking hardware and management software.

From 2001 to 2003, they worked at CJF Audio as a Sales and Marketing professional, followed by their role at NVP Software Testing as a Sales and Marketing Consultant, selling IT consulting and training services.

In 2004, Carl joined emBoot Inc as a Channel Manager, Sales and Marketing, where they sold complex storage software and thin client management solutions to OEMs and resellers across the US, Europe, and Asia/Pacific.

In 2006, they joined StarWind Software Inc as a Sales and Marketing Consultant, where they increased revenue by 200% and provided direction for sales, marketing, and product management initiatives.

From 2007 to 2008, they worked at Hypertec Direct as a Sales Executive, focusing on hardware and software sales and managing the full sales cycle.

In 2008, Carl moved to Open Storage Solutions as a Sales Executive, specializing in IT storage and virtualization solutions.

Currently, they are employed at Hypertec Group as a Sales Executive, responsible for selling IT solutions, professional services, cloud and SaaS, hardware, and software to enterprise, SME, and SMB customers in Canada and the USA.

Throughout their career, Carl has developed expertise in various areas of IT sales, marketing, and software quality assurance, consistently displaying strong leadership and achieving significant results.

Carl Foggin completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science at the University of Guelph from 1993 to 1994. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics for Commerce at York University from 1988 to 1991. In addition to their formal education, Carl also obtained certifications including Cisco Certified Sales Specialist from Cisco in August 2012 and MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) from Microsoft in June 2012. Carl also holds a VMware VTSP certification, although the specific dates of obtaining this certification are not provided.
