Charles Hackett

Charles Hackett has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Charles started their career as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Penn State University from 1987 to 1989. Charles then worked as an Aerothermodynamics Engineer at NASA's Langley Research Center from 1989 to 1992. Returning to Penn State, Hackett worked again as a Research and Teaching Assistant from 1992 to 1995. Charles then joined Hackett Technologies as a Consultant from 1995 to 2005. Charles Hackett also worked at Hypertherm, Inc., where they held various roles including Sr. Process Engineer, Research & Development Group Leader, Director of Operations, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and Director of Corporate Improvement from 1995 to the present.

Charles Hackett completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 1987. After that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University, which they completed in 1989. In 1995, Charles Hackett obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University.
