Stephen Dunbar

Stephen Dunbar is a Senior Plasma Research and Development Engineer at Hypertherm, Inc., with over a decade of experience in developing new technology products from initial idea generation through to product launch and sustaining engineering. Dunbar possesses extensive expertise in experimental methods for advancing plasma cutting processes and techniques. Previous experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Lehigh University, where Dunbar contributed to projects aimed at improving plant efficiency in coal-fired power plants, and as a Mechanical Engineer I at Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc., focusing on equipment for the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.
