Gamal Abdu is an experienced software engineer and music industry professional, currently working at Hyphen since September 2022. Previously, Gamal served as the Head of Music at NOISE from April 2018 to September 2023, leading music production projects, managing recording sessions, and overseeing artist development and budgets. Additional experience includes internships and residencies in software engineering at Healthfirst and NYC Tech Talent Pipeline, respectively, as well as audio engineering at Core Creative Studios. Prior to these roles, Gamal held various sales and customer service positions in retail, contributing to a strong customer experience and operational efficiency. Gamal holds a degree in Multimedia Computing from Brooklyn College and an Associate of Arts from Kingsborough Community College.
