Saira Khan

Saira Khan is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in developing microservices and API solutions. Currently at Hyphen since November 2021, Saira specializes in Kotlin-based microservices utilizing Quarkus, Kafka, and AWS for data processing in FHIR format. Previously, Saira held the same title at UnitedHealth Group, where Java microservices were developed to handle provider demographic data. Earlier roles included a Software Engineer position at Sema4, focusing on Java REST APIs for genetic testing, and multiple positions at UnitedHealth Group involving the creation of REST and SOAP APIs for healthcare data. Saira began a career in software engineering after completing a Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics & Information Technology with a minor in Economics from Rutgers University.
