THOMAS BLACKARD

Thomas Blackard has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber operations, engineering, and solutions architecture. THOMAS currently holds multiple roles at Hypori Virtual Mobility since October 2020, including Principal Cyber Operations Engineer and Principle Cyber Operations Manager Threat Research. THOMAS is also a Sr Cyber Operations Manager. Prior to this, they have worked as a Vice President of Engineering and Senior Director of Engineering at Korcett from 2015 to the present. THOMAS also served as a Sr. Solutions Architect at IOMAXIS from February 2019 to October 2020, and as a CTO at Clarus Broadband from July 2018 to October 2020.

Thomas Blackard has a diverse education history. THOMAS obtained a degree in System Administration from ITT Technical Institute - Chantilly Virginia from 2012 to 2013, majoring in Computer Science. Following this, they attended NVCC from 2013 to 2014, studying towards a Bachelor's degree in IT. Most recently, Thomas earned a Bachelor's degree in IT Security from WGU Texas, specializing in IT Security. In addition to their formal education, they hold various certifications such as AWS and CompTIA Cloud Essentials, obtained in May 2020. THOMAS has also obtained stackable certifications from CompTIA in areas such as IT Operations, Linux Network, Secure Infrastructure, and Systems Support.
