Dan Cuadra has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Dan began their career as an Opto-Mechanical Engineer at Physical Optics Corporation from April 2005 to December 2006. After that, they worked as a Lighting Design Intern at HLB Lighting Design in May 2008. Dan then joined SCI-Arc Shop as Shop Staff from May 2007 to March 2009. In 2010, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at SCI-Arc Cultural Studies Dept. from January 2010 to April 2011. Following that, they served as a Consulting Engineer at Dental Evolutions Inc. from July 2011 to January 2012. From January 2012 to June 2017, they worked at Tribogenics as a Senior Mechanical Engineer / Shop Manager, where they played a key role in designing and building the world's smallest X-ray imaging system and the prototype to production transition of the flagship product. Since June 2017, they have been working at Kelvi as a Principal Engineer, where they successfully launched multiple product lines and managed various aspects of prototype to production transition, project management, and coordination with manufacturing processes. Dan has also demonstrated skills in design control, risk analysis, product safety testing, and maintaining quality system procedures. Additionally, they have experience in creating custom dashboards and workflows for analyzing manufacturing and product lifecycle status, as well as designing and testing novel manufacturing methods.

Dan Cuadra began their education in 2001 at Santa Monica College, where they studied for three years. Dan then transferred to El Camino College in 2003 and completed their Associate in Science degree in Architecture in 2006. Following that, Dan attended SCI-Arc from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree.

In addition to their formal education, Dan Cuadra has obtained several certifications in SolidWorks from Dassault Systèmes. In March 2017, they became a Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) in Mechanical Design. In March 2021, they achieved two more certifications: CSWP-Advanced Drawing Tools and CSWP-Advanced Sheet Metal.
