Dan Whaley

Dan Whaley is the founder, CEO, and chairman of Hypothes.is, an organization dedicated to improving online discourse. Dan has also served as an advisor and board member for a number of companies, including Getaround, Sauce Labs Inc., and Singularity University.

Whaley has been involved in the technology industry for over 20 years. Dan got their start in the early days of the internet, working on web development and open source software projects. In 2009, they co-founded Sauce Labs, a cloud-based testing platform for web applications. Under their leadership, the company grew rapidly and was acquired by Contrarian Group in 2017.

In recent years, Whaley has focused on investing in and supporting early-stage companies that are working on innovative technologies with the potential to make a positive impact on society. Dan is a firm believer in the power of technology to improve the world we live in and is passionate about helping others realize their full potential.
