Martin Gallo

Martin Gallo has work experience in various roles and organizations. Martin is currently working at HYPR as a Senior Product Manager since October 2022. Martin is also serving as the OWASP CBAS Project Lead at the OWASP Foundation since November 2022.

In 2020, Martin joined the ekoparty security conference as a Technical Program Committee Member. Prior to that, they founded and co-organized TandilSec, a community focused on information security.

From 2018 to 2022, Martin worked at SecureAuth Corporation, first as a Senior Director of Research, leading the Innovation Labs team. Martin then became the Director of Strategic Research, where they led strategic research initiatives and helped define company and product strategies. Martin also served as a Product Owner Manager, overseeing SecureAuth's product portfolio backlogs.

In 2019, Martin became a Technical Member of the Identity Defined Security Alliance.

Martin's previous experience includes working at Core Security starting from 2010. Martin held various roles at Core Security, including Product Owner Manager, Security Researcher, Product Owner, Penetration Testing SME, and Senior Security Consultant. Martin also joined BIZEC Alliance as an Independent Member from 2017 to 2018.

Before joining Core Security, Martin worked at PriceWaterhouse Coopers as an IT & Security Senior Consultant. In this role, they were involved in designing information security standards and implementing technical security measures.

Martin Gallo has a diverse educational background in computer science and information systems engineering. Martin started their education journey in 2003 at the Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science until 2007.

In 2004, Martin attended Proydesa Academy for a short period of time to focus on Network Vulnerability and Security Analyst, although no degree was obtained.

Continuing their studies, Martin enrolled at the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Systems Engineering between 2008 and 2012.

Martin'slatest educational achievement was at the Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from 2014 to 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Martin has also obtained two certifications. In 2006, they earned the Technology Consultant SAP Netweaver – SAP Security certification from SAP. In 2011, they became a PCI Approved Scanning Vendor, certified by the PCI Security Standards Council.
