Ketul Patel

Ketul Patel has been in the medical field since 2000. Ketul began their career as a Health Science Advisor at P&G Pharmaceuticals and then moved to GlaxoSmithKline as a Sr. Medical Science Liaison in 2002. In 2011, they took on the role of Medical Affairs Manager at ISTA Pharmaceuticals, as well as Senior Medical Science Liaison, Senior Managed Care Science Liaison, and Sr. Medical Science Liaison II at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. In 2018, they became Regional Medical Director at AveXis, Inc., where they provided scientific exchange and relationship building with Neuromuscular/Pediatric Neurology Clinical Teams on Gene Therapy, Gene Replacement Therapy, Gene Transfer, AAV9, Biosafety, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, ALS, Rhett Syndrome, Monogenic Diseases, etc. In 2020, they took on the role of Principal Medical Science Liaison at REGENXBIO Inc., where they worked collaboratively to provide support for designing and executing medical strategies, plans, and communications. Most recently, in 2021, they became VP of Neurologic Services at Hyr Medical, Inc., where they are responsible for training, ongoing provider “pre-credentialing” and hyper-targeted paid advertising support. In 2022, they will move to AstraZeneca as a Sr. Medical Science Liaison.

Ketul Patel attended the University of Illinois Chicago from 1993 to 2000, where they earned a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) in the field of Pharmacy.
