Avi L. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operational leadership, technology implementation, and business development. Currently serving as Managing Partner at The Kal Co since February 2022, Avi specializes in transforming companies into tech-enabled businesses. Previously, as Chief Operating Officer at Royal York Property Management from May 2015 to February 2022, Avi notably achieved a 30% increase in net profits and a significant reduction in clerical errors through the development of custom software solutions and automated systems. As Managing Director in the same company, Avi expanded the portfolio by over 750 clients and $2 billion in real estate holdings while overseeing a team of 75 employees. Avi's entrepreneurial spirit is further demonstrated through founding NextJEN, a leadership development program for Jewish business students, and holding various leadership roles in youth outreach initiatives. Avi holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor’s degree in Talmudic Law from Heichal Hatorah Research Institute.
