Aleksander Burkow began their work experience in 2011 as a summer intern at Tromsø municipality. In 2012, they worked as a summer intern at Kongsberg Satellite Services and also began their roles as a teaching assistant at NTNU and a web developer at Studentersamfundet i Trondhjem. In 2013, they continued their teaching assistant role at NTNU. In 2016, Burkow joined Telenor as a Software Engineer, focusing on strategic engineering and technology-driven innovation. Aleksander worked there until July 2017. In 2017, Burkow co-founded Hyre AS, where they continue to work as a development co-founder.
Aleksander Burkow completed their Master's degree in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2011 and 2016. Prior to this, they attended UiT- The Arctic University of Norway in 2010 and 2011, where they pursued a degree in Førsteavdeling Juss. Additionally, from 2007 to 2010, they studied at Tromsdalen videregående skole. No specific degree or field of study is provided for their time at Tromsdalen videregående skole.
