Gavin Stannett

Gavin Stannett is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in the energy and environmental sectors. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at HySights since April 2024, Stannett previously held the role of Senior Manager for Hydrogen and CCUS at Accenture from June 2022 to May 2024. Prior experience includes a position as TraceX at Powerledger and significant contributions at Woodside Energy, where roles encompassed Hydrogen Commercialisation Manager, Advisor to SVP North West Shelf & Burrup Hub, and Senior Exploration Geoscientist across various regions, including Myanmar and West Africa. Stannett also consulted with the Jane Goodall Institute in Tanzania, promoting chimpanzee habitat conservation, and worked as a Geohazard Specialist at BP. Stannett holds a BSc Hons in Geology from The University of Edinburgh and a Master's in Geology from the University of Bristol.
