Lance McLaws

Lance McLaws is a seasoned professional in the automotive industry, currently serving as the Manager of Off-road Test and Development at Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. since May 2017, where responsibilities include enhancing the off-road experience of Hyundai Motor Group products. Prior experience includes roles as Sr. Chassis Test and Development Engineer, Traction Performance Test and Calibration Engineer II, and Brake Test and Calibration Engineer I, focusing on off-road, AWD vehicle testing, and automotive braking systems. Earlier positions include mechanical engineering roles at cbi Off-Road Fab and Polaris Industries, along with internships and educational tutoring. Education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University - Idaho and ongoing studies toward a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University.
