Mj Kim

MJ Kim has extensive work experience in the maritime industry, starting with their role as a Cadet at Mokpo National Maritime University in 2005. They then joined Hyundai Merchant Marine, where they served as a Cadet and progressed to become a Third Class Deck Officer. In 2007, they continued their career as a Third Class Deck Officer at Hyundai Merchant Marine and held multiple roles within the company until 2009, including Second Class Deck Officer and Assistant Manager. From 2013 to 2015, MJ Kim worked as a Director Yacht Manager at SUPERYACHT KR. They then returned to Hyundai Merchant Marine and held various positions, including Operations Manager and Deputy Chief (Trade Union). In 2022, MJ Kim joined HMM as a Digital Manager, and they currently serve as the Vice President.

MJ Kim attended Mokpo National Maritime University from 2003 to 2006. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with a focus on the field of study in maritime police.
