Nathan Adams

Nathan Adams has a diverse work experience in the transportation and logistics industry. Nathan is currently working at HMM as the VP Trade and Head of Sales, a role they started in January 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of VP Head of Sales Group at HMM, starting in January 2020.

Before joining HMM, Nathan worked at APL, one of the world's leading container shipping companies. Nathan held several roles at APL, including Vice President NAM Trade and Yield from April 2017 to January 2020. In this role, they led the Trade and Yield team in North America, focusing on pricing, deployment strategies, and cargo management activities. Prior to that, they were the Head Pricing Transpacific Eastbound from February 2015 to March 2017, and Head Product Transpacific Trade from January 2014 to February 2015. Nathan also served as the Senior Director and Director/Senior Manager in Network Planning & Analysis from 2009 to 2013.

Nathan's earlier work experience includes roles at US Airways as a Manager in Yield Management and Senior Analyst in Revenue Analysis, at Mesa Community College as an Adjunct Faculty in Economics, at JetBlue Airways as a Senior Analyst in Revenue Management, and at America West Airlines as a Revenue Management Analyst.

Nathan Adams holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Nathan also has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Economics from UC Santa Barbara.
